
Itsu’s brief for the new frozen gyoza range was to elevate the frozen category. In a space rarely associated with gourmet food, the approach was to create a premium feel through striking photography set against clean, matte backdrops. I designed the packaging: modern pouches that stood apart from traditional competitors, with bold colour bars and bespoke food styling for each SKU to emphasise flavour distinction.
For the launch campaign, I created the headline “Ready. Set. Gyoza!”—emphasising both speed (ready in just three minutes) and the excitement of a new product. Alongside print, we produced a series of recipe videos for social, showcasing creative ways to enjoy the gyoza. The content achieved strong engagement and helped shape Itsu’s wider digital marketing strategy.
