
The Work: To honour the outstanding work of those in the food industry during the pandemic, Heinz launched the Heinz Food Heroes Awards in summer 2020, open to everyone from vloggers and chefs to volunteers. We developed a visual identity and creative assets for the campaign across social media and digital platforms.
Creating the BrandMarque: We needed a symbol that was immediately recognizable as Heinz, while also representing heroism and food. Starting with the idea of heroes using shields to protect the innocent, I created a design that blended the iconic Heinz keystone with a hero’s shield and topped it with a cute chef’s hat. We then 3D animated the design to make it stand out on social.
